Our Story

As many of you know, we met in a seemingly awkward way, both being in long term partnerships with wonderful humans. However, we were magnetically drawn to each other in a way that was undeniable. After a series of synchronistic happenings, we created a deep and powerful bond. Despite our fears of disapointing others, we took a leap of faith, ended our previous relationships and merged our lives. Now, we are learning what it means to RISE in love to a level neither one of us could have ever imagined. We believe this sacred ceremony is a vital expression of our union, while honoring the Spirit of Earth who sustains and nourishes us.

Listen to the song that inspired us to meet in the canyon...

What to bring...

-Tent or camper + camping supplies, unless you plan to stay elsewhere.

-Snacks , water, extra beverages you might want.

(Some spirited beverages will be provided,

but feel free to bring anything you like.)

MUST BE DISCRETE: due to Texas State Park Laws

-A reusable cup & a reusable water bottle

(We will have disposable cups available but let's be kind to the planet please.)

-A camp chair!

Floor cushions and blankets will be provided for ground seating at the ceremony. There will be chairs at Tesajillo Pavillion for those that need one but if you are camping bring a camp chair!

-Weather appropriate clothes, layers! Raincoat, sweater, jacket, warm socks.

(It could be cold, it could be warm, maybe both!)

-Hiking shoes, we won’t be doing anything too strenuous so a good pair of tennis shoes will do just fine!

-A natural item for our altar in ceremony...

stone, crystal, piece of wood, bone, etc.

(This could be bought or found, anything that feels good for you.)

-A sentimental item that you feel attached to AND you are willing to gift to someone else. Be intentional about what you choose, this is an exercise in giving and receiving. It should be something you already have and do not want to let go of, it might be challenging.

(You will be paired with someone random, please don’t be the person who shows up empty handed.)

-If you have an instrument you are willing to play, bring it! (For hanging around the campfire.)

What to expect...

We are literally camping, come set up as early as Friday evening, February 23.

If not, feel free to join us at 1PM on February 24 at the Wolfberry Group Campground for lunch before the ceremony.

Ceremony is held at Tesajillo Pavillion at 2:22PM

It won’t be a long one, we promise! If you don’t want to participate that is totally fine!
